Professionals and businesses in the sector can easily access the platform through an extranet, allowing them to amend material, promote products, and arrange social events from any location. Tourists benefit from a full real-time destination service tailored to their tastes and needs.
The platform's dedicated portal advertising the tourist destination of Rias Baixas (www.turismoriasbaixas.com) is a novel feature. Indra, a consulting and technology firm, is currently developing this portal in compliance with the criteria of the Pontevedra government and the EOI business school.
This program is part of the "Pontevedra, Destio Intelixente" (Pontevedra, Smart Destination) project, a trailblazing endeavor in Spain funded by the European Union. Its goal is to modernize and boost the competitiveness of the tourism industry through the use of ICT.
